Temperature and humidity monitoring: where it is used

Temperature and humidity monitoring is used at home, in storage, in greenhouses and in workplaces. This guide surveys the uses.

Homes and rooms

At home, a thermo-hygrometer watches bedroom, nursery and living-room comfort. In storage, it watches rooms where damp damages goods, books or instruments. The reading matters because damp is invisible until it has already caused damage.

Greenhouses, basements and workplaces

Greenhouses need humidity control for plants. Basements need damp watching. Workplaces with sensitive goods or processes need logged readings over time, which is where Bluetooth models help. Each setting has a different range and accuracy need, and the inquiry should name the setting.

What this overview does not do

This overview adds no new product claims. It organises the monitoring uses already described in the thermo-hygrometer guides.
